A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a tax-exempt trust or custodial account, which pays for qualified medical expenses for you and your family. Funds contributed to the account are not subject to income tax and may be used to pay for qualified health care at any time without tax liability.

- Requirements
- Maximum out- of-pocket expenses for individual is $5,600
- Maximum out- of-pocket expenses for family coverage is $11,200
- Must have High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) to be eligible for an HSA Account
- Individuals must have a deductible of $1100, and a families must have a deductible of $2200
- Individuals age 55 and older can make catch up contributions of $900.00
