Quick-response text-based5 mobile banking

Bank the way you want, when you want. City Bank, provides you free, fast, and secure connectivity to your finances through our text-based5 mobile banking service. Perform simple, everyday banking tasks directly from your text or web-enabled cell phone. Perform a number of helpful commands by texting simple commands to our short code (265646).

Available text commands

  BAL Balance of primary account.
  BAL CK1 Balance of account named CK1.
  BAL ALL Balance of all mobile banking accounts.
  TRA Transfer (TRA SAV1 CK1 125.00), transfers
$125.00 from Savings to Checking.
  HIST Transaction history of primary account unless
secondary account is specified.
  CALLME Initiates a call from the City Bank Customer Care Center.
  HELP Receive a list of text commands.
  GO Receive a link to the mobile browser.
  STOP Unsubscribe from mobile banking.
  PAYIT Initiates SMS alert 5 business days before your loan
is due as well as provides an option to pay the
minimum amount due.

Enroll today by logging in to your online banking, clicking on the “services” tab and select the alert management menu.

City Bank provides multi-layered security using state of the art encryption to give you peace of mind that your data is protected. Transactions are fast, safe, and secure. Plus, there is no need to install or download any complicated software.

In addition, your account numbers and other private information are "shielded" when transmitted. Confidential information such as your password is not stored on your mobile phone.

Enrollment procedures employ a range of authentication methods, including a one-time, time-expiring PIN to ensure that communication is provided only to the mobile phone you designate. Outbound messages can only be sent to the registered and validated phone that you set up during enrollment. City Bank is committed to maintaining your privacy.
